Joe's story

Our client, Joe, was crushed by a hydraulic lift against a machine frame at work because safety equipment failed.

He suffered life-threatening damage to his heart, liver, kidneys and multiple major internal injuries. His lumber spine was fractured in numerous places and his pelvis was shattered. He lost his right leg and other limbs are permanently compromised. Joe spent 11 months in hospital, initially in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life and undergoing numerous operations.
