The Cumbria & Lancashire Asbestos Support Advice Group (CLASAG) hosts friendly sessions for victims of asbestos-related diseases, offering them an opportunity to meet and share their experiences with people in similar situations.
The meetings provide peer-to-peer support, as well as help and advice from professionals including dieticians, complementary therapists and cancer and palliative care professionals.
Thompsons works closely with CLASAG to support their awareness raising and action against asbestos, campaigning with them for the removal of asbestos from schools and public buildings. Our specialist team also provides legal support to victims and their families.
