The East Midlands Asbestos Support Team (EMAST) supports families and victims of asbestos-related diseases throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire (including Boston, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Immingham) and Burton-upon-Trent.
As well as helping with welfare benefits and government compensation schemes, EMAST also provides regular newsletters and holds meetings and conferences, enabling those diagnosed to meet and support one another and overcome any feelings of isolation.EMAST works with other groups across the country so there is one voice to campaign for justice for victims of asbestos-related diseases.
