Andrew Venn

Andrew is Thompsons Solicitors' head of asbestos litigation, handling claims for asbestos-related disease. He is based in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne office.

Andrew's case experience

• Secured damages for Sandra Whitehead who was exposed to asbestos when her former husband, a fitter at a Tyneside shipyard, brought asbestos dust home on his work clothes.
• Successfully tracked down two companies that had dissolved years before to secure compensation for an electrician who was exposed to asbestos while working as an electrician in London.
• Secured damages for the son of a woman who died from mesothelioma after coming into contact with asbestos dust on her husband's work clothes. Andrew had previously successfully run the case of the former shipyard fitter, who also died from mesothelioma.
