Helen Templeton

Personal Injury specialist Helen has been practising for more than two decades and is based in our Liverpool office.

Taking claims from all over the North West and North Wales, Helen's caseload predominantly involves higher value Multi Track accident claims including accidents at work and road traffic accidents, as well as claims for public liability and assault.

Additionally, as our Professional Support Lawyer for PI, Helen provides nationwide training and support for hundreds of Thompsons' lawyers who specialise in Personal Injury claims.

Helen started working for Thompsons in 2002 and went on to complete her training contract with the firm before qualifying in in 2004. During her career at Thompsons, Helen has had experience with all types of accident claims as well as asbestos related illnesses and other industrial disease claims.

One of the reasons she has remained with Thompsons is its insistence on exclusively representing the injured party, rather than those responsible for causing injury or their insurance companies.

In her spare time, Helen holds an Everton FC season ticket and watches them both home and away. Helen also likes to travel.

Helen's case experience:

• Secured £125,000 for a cleaner who was unable to continue her job after she suffered a significant crush injury to her left thumb and psychological trauma as a result of her thumb becoming trapped by a heavy box which fell onto it whilst she was moving a cage.

• Secured £55,000 for a paramedic who suffered multiple injuries including a fractured hip when he was hit by a car on a roundabout whilst he was cycling to work.
