Marta Molda

Marta is an Assistant Lawyer working in the clinicalnegligence department at Thompsons Solicitors� Cardiff office.

Marta qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018 andprior to specialising in clinical negligence she was a personal injurylitigator acting for claimants injured in road traffic accident, accidents atwork or in public places. Over the years she gained solid working knowledge ofthe personal injury claim process and has experience running cases from initialinstruction, through all the investigative stages, to final settlement or courthearing.

Since joining the medical negligence team, Marta hasembraced a new challenge and has shown flair and passion for assisting thedepartment with their pre and post issue cases which are often both complex andof high value whilst running her own caseload of varied fast track clinicalnegligence claims.

Marta now runs her own caseload of fast track cases on abroad spectrum of treatment issues. Her cases include acting for families whohave lost loved ones due to negligent treatment, individuals with improperlymanaged orthopaedic injuries, those harmed by the mismanagement of childbirth,and patients injured by retained foreign objects following surgical procedures.Marta runs those cases from inception to settlement.

 Marta considers themost rewarding aspect of working at Thompsons to be the firm�s commitment toacting solely for those who have been injured or mistreated, always putting theneeds of its clients above all else.

Away from work, Marta enjoys reading, travelling, andoutdoor activities with her children.
