So far this year there have been three British people killed and another ten injured after falling from a balcony abroad.
Falls from height, if not fatal, can result in very Serious Injuries ranging from broken bones, concussion and lacerations to head injuries, brain injuries and spinal injuries.
When claims for compensation are possible
In some of the cases reported in the press recently, alcohol and irresponsible behaviour have played a part in the accidents involving falls from balconies. But this is not always the case.
